The IWCF course is a globally recognized certification program designed for oil and gas industry professionals, particularly those involved in drilling and well operations. The course aims to ensure personnel have the knowledge and skills to maintain well control and prevent blowouts.
The IADC RigPass course is a globally recognized, accredited safety orientation program designed for oil and gas industry personnel working on both onshore and offshore rigs. It equips new employees with essential knowledge about drilling, servicing operations, and safe work practices, ultimately enhancing overall safety performance.
This program is intended for personnel in key well control positions on drilling installations, as well as those in onshore roles. Candidates will undergo an IWCF-accredited training course, delivered in line with the IWCF syllabus, to fully prepare them for their assessment.
Designed for personnel in any role responsible for initiating a well shut-in (equivalent to the former Driller Level).
Tailored for Well Site Supervisors (equivalent to the former Supervisor Level).
Candidates may choose to undertake training in either Surface BOP operations or Combined Surface and Subsea operations, depending on their operational requirements.
Candidates enrolled in Level 3 or Level 4 courses are also required to complete a practical assessment. This is typically carried out in pairs, comprising one driller-level and one supervisor-level candidate.
Candidates must be able to:
This 5-day course program is designed for aspiring and current drillers, focusing on essential drilling concepts and equipment handling.
This 5-day course program is tailored for those in supervisory roles, this course covers advanced drilling techniques, leadership skills, and operational oversight to ensure safe and efficient drilling practices.
This 5-day course is intended to give participants a complete understanding of the subject matter & cover principles and practices of both preliminary & detailed casing design processes. Manual calculations of several casing design exercises will be done by the participants to generate standard software type output graphs. Special design cases and software approach to design will also be discussed.
This 3-day course gives participants a complete understanding cement chemistry, additive use, and lab procedures. Participants will be able to build a solid foundation to design and execute cement jobs. Mud removal and centralization will be taught to ensure cement job success.
The 3-day ABCD course is intended to give participants a complete understanding of the processes involved in the drilling of oil and gas wells.
