INSTRUCTOR PROFILE:

The courses will be imparted by Mr. Anurag Sharma. He is a drilling professional with 28+ years of diverse experience in the industry. He holds B. Tech degree (Bachelor of Technology) in Petroleum Engineering from IIT-ISM, Dhanbad, India’s premier institute in the field of petroleum engineering & earth sciences. He has also undergone Shell’s well engineering distance learning package course run worldwide for their inhouse drilling engineers by Shell Open University. He passed the SHELL Round-2 exam, recognized by the industry as a benchmark for drilling studies, in 2008. He has worked with supermajors like Shell Oman & midsize E&P operators like Premier Oil India, British Gas India, Tullow Oil Uganda & Cairn Energy-Vedanta India, to name a few. He has also worked with service providers like Halliburton-IPM in Malaysia and in Saudi. His experience straddles drilling of both exploration and development wells, both onshore (Land) & offshore. He was part of cutting-edge technology wells like ERD wells, HPHT, multi-laterals just to name a few. His passion for spreading the light of knowledge & experience inspired him to start WELL SCHOOL. The long-term aim is to establish WELL SCHOOL as one stop destination for all premier drilling related trainings for the industry in India & in the region.
